YOUR TASKS:

  • In your role as Art Director, you are responsible for the visuals of advertisement campaigns, which you create and implement together with your team consisting of copywriters, illustrators and layout designers
  • The role of Art Director requires strategic thinking as well as creative work: Whether it is on the side of the agency or the company, it is your responsibility to understand the market and the target groups and you have to optimise the campaigns accordingly
  • Depending on where you work, you now have to sell your campaign to the creative director and/or the customer
  • You then assemble a team of web designers, photographers or film-makers to implement the campaign

THE REQUIREMENTS:

Education/training: You have successfully completed a degree in design or training at an art academy, which you have expanded with internships

Further requirements: You are creative, team-oriented, stress-resistant and show a keen sense for trends and the market, which you would like to channel into creating unique campaigns

Tools: You are well-versed in using image and video editing programmes and Creative Cloud from Adobe
